Orbit Updater installation files

You need the OrbitUpdaterSetup.msi from the Orbit.zip file downloadable from the software releases area of the Apteco web site, available from:

https://www.apteco.com/portal/software-releases

Download and extract the zip file contents from the Current Apteco Orbit Download section.

Warning: Do not install the Orbit Updater yet.

Orbit Updater Diagram

The orbit updater performs the following:

1. Orbit Updater polls https://orbit.apteco.com/FastStatsOrbitUpdateServer/nuget/

2. Orbit updater then checks the version numbers of already installed API and UI

3. If you do not already have an Orbit installation or If the update on orbit.apteco.com is newer than your installed version, the updater:

• Downloads a new version

• Updates files

• Runs any contained update scripts

Note: Update scripts must contain a signature signed by Apteco to run.
