Summary
The summary tab is a central interface where you can view component update settings, prerelease states, installed versions, and available latest versions, all at once.
Note: The Connect API, Connect UI, Responses API, and CDP tabs are not currently relevant to the Orbit Updater Configurator summary.
The summary tab also allows you to carry out some administrative actions, as detailed below.
Repair
Click Repair to update any of your listed components from the currently installed version to the latest version. This option was previously available on the respective tabs but has now been consolidated here for administrative convenience.
Refresh
Click Refresh to update your summary page view.
Use this to reflect any recent changes you’ve made. For example; to verify a successful version update after clicking Repair.
Open event viewer
Click Open Event Viewer to open the Windows event viewer and display specifically filtered Orbit Updater Service events.
The event viewer can be used to help administrators diagnose any issues, should these occur.
For more information on event viewers, see the current Microsoft Event Viewer overview.
Show messages
Expand the Show Messages dropdown to view the details of any on going refresh process.
This running log displays messages returned by the refresh process.
