Web Service

Before you begin, make a note of the website that the FastStats Web Service is currently installed in.

To install the latest Web Service:

1. Use Add or remove programs to uninstall the FastStats Web Service.

2. Run the Setup.exe Web Service installer from the WebService\WebServer\Web Service Installer folder.

3. Choose the website to install to, together with the name of the virtual directory to create.

   

4. Choose the physical directory to install the FastStats Web Service into.

   

5. Click Next and then Install.

   Important: Since the Q3 2015 release, the FastStats Web Service installer now automatically creates a ‘FastStats App Pool’ Application Pool which is used to run the FastStats Web Service. If you wish to run the FastStats Web Service using a different application pool, then you need to manually adjust this afterwards.
