Set up mapping fields in FastStats

To map new Microsoft Dynamics fields in FastStats:

  1. From FastStats select File > Tools > Administrative Functions > Setup Microsoft Dynamics Fields.

  2. The Setup Microsoft Dynamics Fields dialogue opens. Click Add New Microsoft Dynamics Field.

  3. Enter the Microsoft Dynamics Table Name.

  4. Enter the Microsoft Dynamics Field Name that you created earlier. This is the Logical name of your column.

  5. Click Select to select the FastStats variable Person URN from the list under the People Table and click OK.

  6. Select Codes or Descriptions (depending on your variable) from the Output Style drop down menu.

  7. Select the Key Field check box to define this as the Primary Key field.

    Note: There has to be one key field or the upload won’t work.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Repeat steps 2 to 8 above to add all the fields that you created in Dynamics 365.

  10. Map new_fstitle with the FastStats Title field, select Descriptions to display the title.

  11. Map new_fsinitial with FastStats Initial, select Descriptions to display the initial.

  12. Map new_fssurname with FastStats Surname, select Descriptions to display the surname.

  13. Map new_fsdob with FastStats DOB, select Descriptions to display the DOB.

  14. Map new_fsemail with FastStats Email Address, select Descriptions to display the email address.

  15. Click the Close button to finish mapping fields.

    You can update or delete existing Microsoft Dynamics mapping fields.

    • To update a mapping field, click the Edit button

    • To delete a mapping field, click the Delete button

    Note: You need to exit out of FastStats and log in again for these changes to take effect.
