Instiller configuration

If you wish to automatically broadcast the list to a message either from the Email Broadcast wizard or PeopleStage, you need to create a message within Instiller using Instiller Templates.

Note: This section is not intended as a full manual on setting up your messages in Instiller please refer to the Instiller help or contact Instiller for more information.

To configure Instiller:

1. Log in to your Instiller account to access the web-based control panel.

   

   Note: This section uses a specific example to show the areas that need to be setup in Instiller, your setup is likely different, please contact Instiller support or the Instiller help for additional information.

2. The following items are required in Instiller:

   • Field Maps: Create a new Field Map to select the columns that are required for the uploads from Apteco.

   • Details: Enter the Name, API Identifier, First Row Headings, Field Delimiter.

   • CSV Columns: By default, the User Profile column, Email Address will be on the new template as it is required. Add additional columns that are required for the template from User Profile and Custom Fields

   • Templates: Create a Template which can be used to associated with the list uploaded from Apteco.

Create New Template

To create a new template:

1. Select New Template.

   

2. Enter the Subject Line, Description, API Identifier, Email Profile.

   

3. Under Content, for HTML Source Edit Content, create the email that is to be sent out including any columns that are wanted from the Fields Map.

   

4. Save your Template.
