Pure360 SMS guide
Introduction
Apteco integrates with Pure360 SMS so that campaigns can send communications out as text messages via PeopleStage. Follow this guide to get started.
Prerequisites

A Pure360 account with SMS and at least one template message configured

PeopleStage diagram configured
Setup
To setup Pure360 SMS with Apteco, you must first configure a new PeopleStage channel.

Sign in to PeopleStage with a user that has Administration access.

Click File > Administration > Channel Editor.

In the folder that you wish to create the new SMS channel, click the ellipsis menu.

Click Add… > Add SMS Channel.

In the Channel Settings, update the Channel Name.

In Output Settings, select the Broadcaster as Pure360.

Populate the remaining settings as follows:

In Parameter Settings select Message Type = SMS. The other optional parameters are displayed below:
Row Item Description Message Delay Message Delay setting (in minutes) prevents Pure360 trying to send before list is ready. Default is set to 5 minutes. Admin From Email The from email address that administrative emails are sent from. Encoding Encoding of the input file. This should be left as default. Possible values: ASCII, BigEndianUnicode, UTF32, UTF7, UTF8, Unicode, Default. Intelligent Timed Sending Indicator as to whether intelligent timed sending should be enabled for this delivery. The default value is ‘false’. List Language Code The language code to use when creating new lists on Pure360. This is a concatenation of locale and character encoding. The default value is ‘en_GB.ISO8859-15’. A common alternative would be ‘en_GB.UTF-8’ for English UTF-8 list. Max Api Retries Maximum retries on API calls. The default value is 5. Maximum Deliveries Per Hour Limit delivery speed to a maximum of n deliveries per hour (minimum 1000). The default value is ‘unlimited’. Secure Setting this to true will force the connection to Pure360 to become secure. The default value is ‘false’. Use Dated List Setting this to true will add a date and time stamp at the end of the list name making it always unique. The default value is ‘false’. -
Add any required Additional Variables.
Note: Ensure that the Variable Description matches what is expected in the Pure360 SMS template.
SMS Campaigns in PeopleStage
Now that you have created the channel, you can use it to send SMS messages through Pure360.
Note: Pure360 expects the mobile number format to be like the following example:

To send SMS messages through Pure360:

After creating the channel, refresh the PeopleStage Library.

Create a Person Level Campaign, with an Audience, Message (Content and Delivery).

Drag and drop the new Pure360 SMS channel into the Delivery step.

In the Delivery > Message Name, select the SMS Message template.

Schedule the campaign to run.
Note: The message should arrive shortly after the Message Delay settings.
