Generate Meta tokens

For Apteco to be able to connect to Meta, including WhatsApp, Orbit needs to generate Meta tokens.

To set this up in Apteco Orbit:

1. Click the Profile icon, then click Account settings.

2. Click the Meta (Facebook & WhatsApp) tab.

   Note: If Facebook has already been configured, then click Update for adding WhatsApp. If Facebook has not been previously setup, then click Continue with Meta to connect to Meta, including WhatsApp.
   
   

3. If you have previously linked Apteco to Meta, click Edit previous settings. If you have not previously linked Apteco and Meta, sign in to Meta and then click Edit previous settings.

4. Select the Meta businesses you want to connect to Apteco, then click Continue.

5. If you already have Facebook Pages connected then leave these checked. If you wish to add Facebook Pages this can be done now. Click Continue.

6. Select the WhatsApp Business accounts to be used by Apteco, then click Continue.

7. Review the permissions to grant to Apteco. Click Save.

8. You should now receive the message confirming that Apteco is now linked to Facebook (Meta). Click Got It.

   You then return to Orbit’s Account Settings page, with the Meta Permissions Connected details for the Facebook Pages and WhatsApp Accounts that the tokens generated grant access to.
