• Mid June is the earliest Apteco will release a version of Orbit that is dependent on .NET 8.0

November 2024

• End of support for ASP.NET Core 6

Apteco plans to introduce a dependency on the ASP.NET Core 8 Server Hosting bundle for the OrbitAPI by mid-June at the earliest.

This is now required to be installed on the web server. Please download and install the bundle to use Apteco Orbit going forward.

You can download the ASP.NET Core 8 Server Hosting bundle from:

• https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0

Note: Uninstalling earlier versions of the .NET Core Hosting Bundle can cause the OrbitAPI to stop functioning correctly.
