# Edit relationship

The properties of the relationship can be viewed by highlighting a join line, right clicking and choosing **Relationship****Properties**.

## Relationship properties

- **Parent Relationship Name** is a display name to be used in FastStats.
- **Child Relationship Name** is a display name to be used in FastStats.
- **Key Size** controls the number of bytes used to make the join.
- **Key Type** determines whether the key data should be treated as numeric, textual or automatic.
