# Operators

The standard operators supported in expressions are the following:

## \+ Add

Addition

## \- Subtract

## \* Multiply

Multiplication

[Total] * 0.175
```

## / Divide

Division

[Total Cost] / [No. of Occupants]
```

Expression

```apteco
[Cost] / 5
```

## % Modulus

Divides the value of one expression by the value of another, and returns the remainder.

[Value] % [Cost]
```

Expression

```apteco
[Value] % 5
```

## ^ Power

The power operator a^b calculates the b-th power of a.

Expression

```apteco
[Value] ^ [Numeric]
```

Expression

```apteco
[Value] ^ 3
```
