# FastStats

Apteco FastStats is Apteco's analytics technology, built for exploring large customer datasets at speed. Analysts use the FastStats desktop client for in-depth analysis: counting and cross-tabulating, visualising, profiling, and building predictive models.

Every analysis in FastStats uses drag and drop. Drag variables onto a selection, cube, or chart, and FastStats runs the query straight away. You can save and reuse any query, and apply any technique to any result, in any order.

You can use FastStats standalone for individual, ad-hoc analysis, or as FastStats Enterprise, which connects to the FastStats web service so teams can share systems and work.

With FastStats, you can:

- Count simple to complex queries using [selections](<https://help.apteco.com/en/faststats/analysis/selections/index.md>)
- Cross-tabulate data with [cubes](<https://help.apteco.com/en/faststats/analysis/cubes/index.md>) and [trees](<https://help.apteco.com/en/faststats/analysis/trees/index.md>)
- Visualise results with [charts](<https://help.apteco.com/en/faststats/visualisation/charting/index.md>) and [word clouds](<https://help.apteco.com/en/faststats/visualisation/word-cloud/index.md>)
