# Creating multi-dimension charts in audiences

> Multi-dimension charts in audiences are an extension of single dimension charts in audiences. Familiarise yourself with single dimension [Charts in audiences](<https://help.apteco.com/en/orbit/audiences/audience-workbooks/charts-in-audiences/index.md>) before progressing to use multi-dimension charts.

To create a multi-dimension chart in an audience workbook:

1. Go to the **Audiences** tab.
2. Create or open an existing audience.
3. Select **\+ New Page** to create a New Item.
4. Under the Tools menu, select **Chart**.
5. Provide a **Chart Name**, then select **Create**.
6. Select **Setup a Chart** or **Properties** to open the side panel menu.
7. Expand the **Chart Type** drop-down menu.

   You're now presented with the full list of chart types. Scroll down to find the full list of multi-dimension charts in audience workbooks.
8. Select a chart from the **Multi Dimension Charts** list.
9. Add your **Dimension Properties** (**\+ Add Variable**) and **Measure Properties** (**\+ Add Measure**).

   Prompts guide you on the minimum number of dimensions and measures required for each chart.
10. Select **Apply**.

You've now created a multi-dimension chart via audience workbooks.
