# Publishing the campaign

Before you can publish your campaign, you must first set the schedule. For more detail, see [Setting a schedule](<https://help.apteco.com/en/orbit/campaigns/journey-builder/setting-a-campaign-schedule/index.md>).

Once you have set a schedule, the WhatsApp campaign is ready for you to publish.

To publish the campaign:

1. Click **Save**.
2. The Publish option now appears. Click **Publish**.
3. A Publish Summary now displays all the settings you have configured for this campaign.
4. Click **Publish**.

The campaign runs when the scheduled time arrives.

The contacts in the audience then receive the WhatsApp message.
