The FastStats Files window
The My FastStatsFolders directory within the Files explorer window is where you can save and retrieve work you have created in FastStats.
To help you locate your files more easily, a search facility is available:
- Click and highlight the My FastStatsFolders directory
This will perform a search across all folders and sub-folders. Alternatively, if you highlight for example the Public folder, the search will begin here and just include any sub-folders within Public.
- Click the Find icon to open the Find window
- Enter the name of the file you want and click Find
FastStats will search and return any matching files.
In the above screen shot we can see that 3 files have been located indicating that 2 of the paths are within the Public folder and 1 within Private.
- Double click on the line of the file and the item will open in the FastStats workspace
In some instances you may not know the full name of the file or would rather not type in a long file name. If this is the case the * wildcard character can be used. For example:
-
seg* will find all files that start with the letters ‘seg’
-
*.xml will find all files that end with ‘.xml’
-
*avg* will find all files that have the letters ‘avg’ somewhere within the name
The Filename search box is NOT case sensitive
