Changes to existing audiences
We're improving how you use audiences in Orbit by introducing audience workbooks.
We're confident that these changes will improve your user experience of our platform even further moving forward.
Here's what you need to know:
Navigation
We are replacing the static Create ⇒ Check ⇒ Export flow with a more flexible approach. The vertical tabs have changed to horizontal tabs. Use the New Item tab to build your workbook.
Favourites
You can re-use and share resources using Favourites, via the New Item tab.
Checking your results
Your current check compositions will soon become favourites. They'll be simpler, with fewer options.
You'll see:
-
Donut charts for results with less than 6 categories
-
Line charts for ordered variables (like dates)
-
Column charts for everything else
Please note, some chart options will no longer be available, such as:
-
Omitting zero values
-
Sorting order
-
Showing maps
-
Adjusting chart size
Also, your shared check compositions will still be shared, but they'll be read-only.
You can use the Check my Results solution to make new sets of visualisations.
Export templates
You may have grid export columns defined for you, previously known as Export Templates. These are also converted to favourites, so you can re-use them. These favourites can also be shared.
Your Last Export
If you've exported data from this audience before, then we'll convert your last used template into a new tab. All columns, including user codes, are recreated.
