Exporting data from an audience
You can download your audience data from your Orbit system after you add a data grid. This provides an opportunity to share your data for reporting or further analysis.
Export your data
To export data from your audience:

Go to your audience with the data grid.

Click Export.

In the export dialogue, enter a Name for your export.

Select your preferred format from the dropdown:

Comma separated (CSV)

Excel (XLSX)

Database format (DBF)
-
DUNS numbers only (URN)

Click Export.
Your browser now downloads the file to your default downloads folder.
Note: Check your browser download settings to enable location selection for each download.
Configure CSV export options
When you select CSV format, you can customise delimited file settings:

Choose alternative separator characters from the Delimiter dropdown.

Select a text qualifier from the Encloser dropdown.
CSV (Comma Separated Values)
Universal format compatible with most spreadsheet applications. Best for data analysis and sharing between systems.
XLSX (Excel format)
Microsoft Excel's native format. Use when working with Excel or when you need advanced formatting features.
DBF (Database format)
Structured database format suitable for importing into database management systems.
URN (Uniform Resource Name)
Use this format when you only need persistent identification numbers.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during the export process:

Ensure that your audience has an data grid configured.

This export uses standard browser download processes, so any company restrictions will apply to Orbit exports as well.

Check your browser's download settings and ensure downloads are enabled for the Orbit domain.
