Preview and test emails

It’s important to make sure you happy with the content of your emails and how they look on your recipients’ different devices. To do this you can:

• Preview what your email template will look like from the email builder.

• Send test emails to any email address.

Note: Any unused email previews expire at the end of your current billing period.

Previewing a template

To preview an email template:

1. From the campaigns screen, click Email Builder.

   

2. Click Edit under the template you want to preview.

   

3. Click Preview & Test, then Preview email.

   

4. Click Start testing.

   

You can now select any number of clients or devices to preview your email template.

Sending a test email

To send a test email from the email builder:

1. From the campaigns screen, click Email Builder.

   

2. Click Edit under the template you want to preview.

   

3. Click Preview & Test, then Send a test email.

   

4. Add any email addresses and press enter or the spacebar.

5. Click Send.

   

Your recipients will now receive your test emails.

Previewing from a journey

You can preview and test your emails in the journey builder.

To preview and send a test email from your campaign journey:

1. Open your campaign journey.

2. Click the option menu on your email step, then click Edit.

3. Click the option menu in the top-right of the side panel, then click Preview and Test Email.

   

From here you can preview the look of your email and send a test.
