Recording communication history

You can record communication history for your campaign. While not all campaigns require this, it's essential if the campaign needs to be included in contact strategy rules or requires reporting. Communication history tracks the individuals contacted, campaign details, and any personalisation applied.

To record communication history:

  1. In your Orbit journey, click the option menu.

  2. Click Campaign Summary.

  3. Ensure that the Record Communication History box is ticked.

To check whether the campaign is recording communication history after publishing:

  1. On your message step, click the option menu.

  2. Click View details.

    The note in the side panel on whether communication history is being recorded updates accordingly.
