Using dashboard filters
Dashboard filters can be used to constrain the data on a dashboard, they can be added at the time of creating the dashboard by an administrator or you can add filters using the categories on a tile.
A filter applied on one tile will constrain the rows and data in all the tiles
- To apply a filter to the dashboard as an administrator use the filters panel when in edit mode, for example to limit the data within a date range
The filter will display as a read-only filter in the filter panel
User Filters
When using a dashboard select categories in a dimension on a tile to add or remove from the current selection then click the Add to filter
