Social Admin for Meta

Orbit has the ability for integrations between Social platforms and Apteco to be set up in the web browser rather than through Apteco FastStats.

An Orbit user with the Facebook Administrator Role can begin the integration process through Orbit via Account Settings.

To integrate Facebook with Orbit:

  1. Navigate to the Facebook tab on Account Settings.

  2. Here the Orbit user needs to invite the Facebook user responsible for the management of the Facebook pages. The Facebook user can grant Apteco permission to publish ads and post to pages. Enter the email address of this user to seek this permission. If you have this role then you can log in directly into Facebook to grant access rather than via the email invitation.

  3. The recipient of the email is asked to follow the Grant Access instruction by clicking on the link in Orbit and granting access through the Orbit platform.

  4. If the Facebook user does not have an existing Orbit log then in they’re asked to register and are taken to the relevant admin screen.

  5. Follow the instructions on the Orbit screen. By clicking on the Continue with Facebook button, you are redirected to Facebook. Log into Facebook, completing the two factor authentication if required, and tick the pages and permission to link Facebook and Apteco.

  6. Once permission has been granted, Orbit updates to display details of the pages and permissions granted in the account settings.

  7. Once permission has been granted, it can then be updated or removed by an administrator.

  8. Social channels need to be set up via PeopleStage as the last stage for use in Campaigns.
