Data mappings between data source columns and CDP structures

Data mapping allow you, as a user, to define connections between your source individual/contact point data and transactional data and the columns within the Apteco Standard Data Model (SDM).

Once defined, data can then be ingested and displayed in an Apteco Customer Data Table, as part of the Apteco Customer Data Platform (CDP).

Data mapping is an essential step in setting up your Apteco CDP. It determines how incoming data populates and updates specific elements within the platform.

There are two routes into defining data mapping:

  • From the +New Data Mapping button that becomes available immediately after importing a data source

  • Navigating directly to the Data Mappings page header within Orbit connect
