File upload

You can integrate data from your local system through uploading any delimited text files (.csv, .txt).

Adding a file upload data source

To upload your data by file:

1. Click + New Data Source.

   

   Note: You can only upload delimited text files (.csv, .txt).

2. Name the data source, then click Create.

3. Select file or drag and drop. The file is uploaded and a progress bar displays.

   

4. File settings are automatically detected, but you can manually override them. Choose Delimiter, Encloser, File type, and Header row as required. Any changes are reflected in the Data Preview.

5. If you are happy with the presentation, click Import to add the data to the Apteco Customer Data Platform (CDP).

6. The import begins and the logs update automatically.

   A message displays when the import is complete.

   

7. You can now add a table by clicking + New Table.
