We’d like to give you the opportunity to be involved in shaping our development process via the Apteco insider program.
This programme provides you with access to selected preview and fully released Apteco software features, allowing you to provide feedback.
You can sign up and join our Apteco insider programme by following three simple steps available on our partner portal.
Apteco CDP
A CDP (Customer Data Platform) is defined by the CDP Institute as ‘packaged software that creates a persistent, unified customer database that is accessible to other systems.’
The Apteco CDP allows you to consolidate multiple, disparate customer data sources into a single, unified dataset. It achieves this through matching and deduplication, creating customer records with associated attributes such as email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses.
The Apteco CDP journey begins with data ingestion, which consists of data upload, data mapping, and ID resolution. Once complete, your unified data can then be built into an Orbit system for analytical and campaign activities, all within the Apteco Cloud.
Apteco CDP V1 data structure
Apteco CDP V1 uses standard data structures to store information on:
-
Individuals
-
Individual attributes
Data is ingested from your data source configured in Apteco Orbit. You can choose from different identity resolution strategies, and create/update individual records.
In Apteco CDP V1, all other data comes from the standard attribute store already used by Orbit connect.
Elevated dashboards
We’ll soon bring the improved edit panels from audiences dashboards, making tile definitions in these panels clearer, faster, and more consistent. This update simplifies training and onboarding, making what you learn in one area seamlessly apply to the other.
Your dashboards will stay the same until you choose to use this new feature. Tabs, tiles, visualisations, and filters remain unchanged, with the only visible difference being a more flexible filter selection menu, which is already in use for audience cubes, charts, and maps.
The new floating selection menu can be moved to ensure that you have access to everything you select, and provides exactly the same options as the previous filter menu in the top right of the tile.
Once you start using the new edit panels, you’ll unlock powerful dashboard enhancements such as the ability to:
-
See the patterns more clearly with thematic colour scales on cube tiles
-
Fit results to the tile space with more flexible, multiple category display limits
-
Focus on key results by displaying only the top or bottom values in an entire visualisation
With this foundation in place, we’ll continue expanding functionality.
Stay tuned for release updates!
