Users and groups

This section provides detail on administering users, groups, and transferring ownership.

• Users: A person that uses the Apteco Software. Administering a user takes place in Orbit. Accounts created in Orbit can be seen in FastStats. The design aim is to administer a user in one place with as few mouse clicks as possible.

• Groups: A collection of users of Apteco software. Via Orbit, users are allowed to be in more than one group. Groups can be used to represent specific functions and a combination of groups maybe required to grant sufficient privileges for a particular role.

• Transferring ownership: Allows administrators to transfer Orbit user resources such as dashboards, audiences, collections, favourites, and workspaces to another user.
