Data security¶

Encryption¶

Apteco encrypts Apteco Cloud storage, including all customer data in Apteco Cloud, using the industry-standard AES-256 algorithm.

Apteco employee access to data¶

Apteco employees don't have access to Apteco Cloud customer data. The exception is when the customer agrees to it, so Apteco can provide requested assistance, for example when requested in a support ticket.

Backups¶

Apteco regularly makes backups of Apteco Cloud instances and tests the recovery process. Apteco retains the last three daily backups and the last four weekly backups.

Data removal on termination / right to erasure¶

Apteco deletes customer data on Apteco Cloud trial systems within 3 days of a trial ending. Apteco deletes data on Apteco Cloud production systems within one month of the Apteco Cloud subscription terminating.

Data privacy regulations¶

Apteco complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant geographical privacy regulations as required. See the GDPR guide for more details.
