Copying dashboards, tabs, and tiles

You can easily copy, edit, and reuse the content from dashboards, tabs, and tiles. When viewing a dashboard in edit mode, you can:

  • Copy entire dashboards, including all their tabs and tiles

  • Copy dashboard tabs, including all their tiles

  • Copy individual tiles

This feature saves you considerable time replicating an already existing dashboard configuration and allows you to focus on getting the most out of your marketing data. It enables you to take content from a number of different dashboards, tabs, and/or tiles and consolidate it in a single location.

Note: To copy a dashboard, tab, or tile, you need to have the ‘create dashboards’ permission enabled. See Roles and rights.

Copying a dashboard

To copy a dashboard:

  1. Open a dashboard and click Edit.

  2. From the dashboard options drop down menu, click Copy Dashboard to.

  3. Search for/select which target dashboard that you want to copy your current dashboard to and click Make a Copy.

  4. An notification appears stating which target dashboard your current dashboard has been copied to. Click View Dashboard to do so.

  5. All dashboard tabs are now appended to your set target dashboard with a (Copy) suffix, for reference. You can rename these appended tabs as required.

Copying a tab

To copy a tab:

  1. Open a dashboard tab and click Edit.

  2. From the tab options drop down menu, click Copy Tab to.

  3. Search for/select which target dashboard that you want to copy your current tab to and click Make a Copy.

  4. An information message appears stating which target dashboard your current tab has been copied to. Click View Dashboard to do so.

    Your selected dashboard tab is now appended to your set target dashboard with a (Copy) suffix, for reference. You can rename appended tabs as required.

Copying tiles

To copy a tile:

  1. Open a dashboard and click Edit.

  2. From your selected tile options drop down menu, click Copy Tile to.

  3. Select which target dashboard and search for/select the tab location that you want to copy your selected tile to, then click Make a Copy.

  4. An information message appears stating which target dashboard your selected tile has been copied to. Click on View Dashboard to do so.

    Your selected tile is now appended to your set target dashboard.
