Patch 26: Virtual variable refresh package

We've added a Multi-threaded passes (new method) option to the Virtual Refresh Package post-load action in Designer. This option uses an improved strategy to group virtual definitions into passes, which helps systems with complex dependencies between large numbers of virtual definitions. You'll see fewer 'impossible' definitions and more variables refreshing successfully.

To apply this fix:

Install FastStats Designer version 1.3.25097.59 or later contained within the Designer.zip file.

Patch 25: Dotdigital custom reply-to address

We've fixed an issue where custom reply-to email addresses weren't being copied through to Dotdigital when you sent emails. Your custom reply-to addresses now transfer correctly with your email templates.

Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.25097.43 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.25097.60 or later.

Patch 24: Issues with date and datetime expressions used in selections

We’ve found and fixed some issues with date and datetime expressions used in selections.

If the expression contained no variables, but did contain on-the-fly aggregations, then wrong results could occur if the selection used adhoc dates, date ranges or date rules.

In some cases, the resulting count was 0, and in other instances all records were selected.

To apply this fix:

Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.25097.41 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.25097.57 or later.
Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Binaries to version 1.1.25097.54 or later.

Patch 23: Spotler response fails on gateway timeouts

We’ve fixed an intermittent issue that occurred when gathering responses from Spotler, sometimes causing a gateway timeout. Spotler responses are now handled, meaning that the operation retries instead of failing.

Patch 22: Dotdigital unified contacts URN field

We've fixed an issue where Dotdigital wasn't updating the URN variable when you used unified contacts. The system now correctly populates URN fields when you upload a list with unified contacts enabled.

Patch 21: Transaction campaign response attribution

You can now set up response attribution on transaction campaigns where responses are defined on a child of the transaction table. We've relaxed validation checks to allow you to publish and attribute responses for these campaign types.

To apply this fix:

Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.25097.57 or later.

Patch 20: Emarsys response gatherer

We've fixed an issue where the Emarsys response gatherer failed to retrieve recipient URNs when you sent a broadcast to more than 1,000 recipients. The system now requests URNs in batches of 1,000 to ensure all recipient data is successfully pulled back for inclusion in your response database.

Patch 18: Locale not reset between requests

We’ve found and fixed an issue causing campaign optimisation to set the request locale to a particular decimal export format, then not reset this to configured default at the start of every subsequent request.

Note: We originally included this fix in the Q3 2024 release, but it wasn't carried forward to later releases. We've now applied the fix to all current releases on our website.

Patch 16: WhatsApp mobile number validation

We’ve fixed an error that occurred when sending WhatsApp messages to records with blank or very short mobile numbers. Your WhatsApp campaigns now correctly handle invalid mobile numbers.

Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.25097.47 or later.

Patch 14: Exception when loading a PeopleStage quick message campaign without Broadcaster or Campaigning licence

We’ve found and fixed an issue causing users without a Broadcaster or Campaigning licence to encounter an exception error when they created a quick message in Orbit and then tried to load their campaign in PeopleStage.

Patch 13: Updated digital certificates for Apteco main software components

Some users reported that thay experienced problems while installing FastStats Configurator, Launchers, Designer, Excelsior, and Local, from zip files via the Apteco software download page.

Note: All main software components on this page have now been resigned with an updated digital certificate to resolve this issue.

Patch 12: Orbit transactional audiences display in PeopleStage

We've fixed an issue where Orbit transactional audiences appeared in an Unknown folder at the bottom of the PeopleStage library. Previously, clicking on this folder would cause an error. The system now properly handles Orbit transactional audiences when you browse the library.

To apply this fix:

Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.25097.32 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the PeopleStage Binaries to version 1.0.25097.39 or later.

Patch 11: PeopleStage audience library files

We've fixed an issue where the PeopleStage library stopped displaying files when it encountered a minor error reading a file in the directory. The system now skips problematic files and continues to show all remaining available files when you browse directories.

Patch 10: Missing unclassified code

We’ve fixed a FastStats Designer issue that causes a single field delimited array variable to lose the unclassified code if it is specified.

As a workaround for this, clearing the codes adds the unclassified code back. This workaround has to be repeated for every build until the fix is applied.

Patch 8: Diagram lock when publishing campaigns without Response Attribution segments

Publishing a campaign without a response step no longer inadvertently locks your campaign, preventing you from publishing campaigns without a response step defined, when other campaigns are running.

Patch 7: Dotdigital API logger

We’ve added an optional "Api Logger Path" parameter to Dotdigital channels that allows you to log all API requests and responses to a specified file path for debugging purposes.

Patch 6: Dotdigital contact list overwrite

We've fixed an issue where the Dotdigital overwrite contacts list mechanism would sometimes start adding new contacts before the deletion of old contacts was complete. The system now properly waits for contact deletions to finish before uploading new contacts when reusing list names.

Patch 5: Apteco email template default values

We've fixed an issue where default values in transactional email template variables displayed blank spaces instead of the specified default text. Email templates now correctly show default values when personalisation fields are empty or unclassified.

We’ve fixed an issue where timed filters in PeopleStage failed to work correctly with journey audience selections that were not the initial audience.

Patch 3: Date expression in Selection bug: Expression with no variables

We've fixed bug encountered when using a date expression in a selection.

On a date expression with no variables used in a selection, an "Invalid value rules for (null)" crash was caused in the FastStats server.

Note: A likely scenario where this could occur is when your expression contains an on the fly aggregation.

Patch 2: Response detail loading fix

You can now load response details in Orbit for SMS messages with Reply or Fail statuses without encountering XML validation errors. Previously, the system didn't recognise 'Failed' as a valid response type, causing exceptions when viewing these details.

Patch 1: Error when deleting unpublished campaigns

We've resolved an issue in Orbit where deleting folders containing unpublished campaigns threw FastStats Service errors. You can now delete folders and their contents without encountering these log errors.
