Integrations

Pull Marketing and Streams

Apteco now support Apache Kafka message streams as a method to pass data to, and trigger, Apteco PeopleStage campaigns in real-time.

Apache Kafka is a high-performance message queuing system used to provide information flows between applications. It is often used as part of an enterprise information architecture enabling data sharing and event triggering.

See Pull Marketing and Streams.

Real Time Triggers

Apteco now integrates with Apache Kafka to allow Real Time Triggers. We outline how to setup and configure Pull Marketing and Streams.

With FastStats Configurator Database Management, you can use the Advanced options menu to connect to your SQL server and create a Pull Marketing database.

See Real Time Triggers help.

Feature Description
Content Navigating to Xml tab on the channel editor now displays a 'You do not have permission' message on the other tabs.
Real Time Triggers: Multiple FS Services causes speed issues when creating Real Time Triggers.
Real Time Triggers: Publishing a campaign causes Real Time Trigger (RTT) events to be missed.
Preview Counts returning O when Audience and Pool are deleted.
Error retrieving email responses from Cleverreach.
PeopleStage diagram lines can sometimes take a long time to load and then longer to display stats.
Deactivated a campaign that has a channel that no longer exists causing an error.

Integrations

Single Sign On (SSO)

Users can now access Apteco PeopleStage through their integration with their 3rd party SSO provider.

Following the pre-requisites of enabling SSO for FastStats in Orbit, SSO can also now be enabled in the PeopleStage Configuration tool. Once configured, a user logged in through SSO can launch PeopleStage from their desktop without further login credentials needed, offering greater fluidity in the user's session and easier use across the Apteco applications.

See Single Sign On help.

WhatsApp Preview and Test

In collaboration with Syniverse, you can now Preview and Test within the Delivery Step of our WhatsApp integration.

This function allows you to check if your message name is recognised before publishing. The Preview and Test button opens a screen where you can view a preview of the text in your message and send a test message to yourself to check everything works correctly.

PeopleStage Q1 2022 software release

New features

Campaign Channels

Channel Editor

In PeopleStage Q1 2022, the list of channel options has been amended to more easily add an SMS, WhatsApp, or Mock channel. This amendment has simplified the channel editor groupings for ease of use, rather than these channel options being administrated as part of the Email channel type.

The Channel Editor allows the Administrator the ability to set up and amend Communications channels used on the Delivery step in a PeopleStage campaign.

The WhatsApp Business integration connects to your WhatsApp Business Account or WABA.

See Channel Editor help.

Integrations

WhatsApp

In collaboration with Syniverse, we are increasing our integration portfolio with the addition of support for the WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is designed for enterprise businesses who desire to use WhatsApp messages as part of a multi-channel customer journey, where the communications being sent, although can be personalised, are sent to many recipients.

PeopleStage can now send Business initiated messages directly to a WhatsApp conversation as long as consent has been captured.

Known Issue:

It is currently not possible for Apteco PeopleStage to validate whether the template name specified for a WhatsApp Business API message is correct and approved by WhatsApp (Meta). If you select an incorrectly named or unapproved message name within the Delivery Step in PeopleStage, PeopleStage appears to work but the message is not be sent by Syniverse. Syniverse then reports an error in sending the message in the platform.

We are working with our partners and WhatsApp to introduce error checking functionality to resolve this issue.

See Integrations WhatsApp help.
