Dashboards

  • Import values to match text variables for selection or exclusion can now be typed or pasted into a selection, and a file containing a list of text values can be uploaded to include or exclude records in audiences or dashboard filters. See Importing Text Variables for Selection or Suppression.

  • Cube totals are now enabled by default and are re-calculated accordingly when using category display. A default sort can also be applied to the total of the first measure but then modified by a dashboard user. See Adding Cubes as Dashboard Tiles.

Campaigns

  • Orbit users can now export an audience to an FTP or File channel, which can then be used and modified in Orbit and PeopleStage. See Channel Editor FTP and File Channels.

  • We've added an Inactive tag for campaigns with a deleted schedule.

General

  • The Orbit API Configurator now contains a link to the relevant supporting documentation.

  • The Orbit Updater Configurator now contains a link to the relevant supporting documentation.

  • The Schedule Form now states the Specified date, rather than the Other date, and displays an information message stating the last ran date.

  • You can now select multiple collections, navigate through them, run presentation mode, and cycle through all collections that are selected.

  • Dashboard editors can now choose to exclude tiles from the user filter while still respecting the dashboard filter display of summary information.

  • The dashboard editor now has a checkbox in the right hand panel to mark a tile as not selectable, e.g. for a visualisation displaying transactional data only.

  • In Orbit Audiences and Dashboards, reference keys can now be used to select or suppress specific individual records. These reference keys can be entered individually, copied and pasted, or loaded from a file. See Using Reference Keys for Selection or Suppression.

  • We've improved the loading time performance of Dashboards for all Orbit users.

Campaigns

  • The Campaigns header bar is now 'sticky' at the top of the page, so that when you scroll on Overview/Monitoring, it's always visible.

General

  • You can now edit the Orbit API configuration to live or test URLs, and check that the Orbit UI uses them correctly from the Account Facebook/Google/LinkedIn/Twitter pages.

  • Fixed an issue causing the swapping of sort order dimensions on cubes to lead to an error.

  • Orbit users can now Export an Audience to a Campaign using a reoccurring yearly schedule. See Campaign Scheduling, Setting a Yearly Schedule.

  • Orbit users with the Broadcaster bundle or above are now able to determine whether their Campaign records Communications History. This data can be loaded and used for further analysis and PeopleStage users can now apply communication constraints, including campaigns defined in Orbit.   • Calculated measures in Apteco Orbit Dashboards allows you to easily calculate marketing outcomes. Now you can simply add, subtract, multiply or divide data variables and/or full counts of system tables together to present key marketing metrics as ratios.

  • We are delighted to add significant power to Orbit dashboards through the introduction of tile filters. This new capability enables a dashboard author to define on any tile specific filter rules which are applied in addition to other dashboard or user filters. This enables a tile to show a subset of the data on the whole dashboard or, for example, two tiles on the same dashboard to show different time periods, product details or customer types, etc.

  • Added the ability to set the font size in numeric tiles.
